Another day another party

Mini thoroughly enjoyed her first party in a while. Any excuse to get ready at my dressing table, accessorising with my many bangles and desperately trying to nab one of my lipsticks.
Her godmummy Karen's son Kai was turning 5 and although we came bearing gifts and a smart party frock from The Gap, mini was the one who ended up leaving with plenty of booty. From her German stories of princess Lilifee (a be-glittered fairy) to her Miffy coat hangers (Miffy I'm afraid beats Hello Kitty hands down but maybe that's the 70's kid in me) mini was spoilt rotten.

No Min

I know there hasn't been a mini post for a while but I promise to resume pronto! I've been away in Rome on a fashion trip for Red magazine and have been remiss in my lack of postings. However here are a few tasty pics I took whilst on location.

Citrus Bright

Mini gave it her best shot today to lift those grey london skies with her bright citrus cord skinny pants from J Crew. We paired them with a white lace shirt from Bonpoint and her silver knitted waistcoat from Bonton, a lime green bow and her mushroom Spring Court trainers. Kinda wish I had it in my wardrobe.

Mini and BF Ray Ray are twins in their Little White Company jim jams. Snap!

Bjorn and Bubbles

Phin is channelling Bjorn Borg for some reason with his headband fixation. Or maybe he's been inspired by Papa's obsession with Wes Anderson and The Royal Tenenbaums or his mama's love of Prada and the fact that Miuccia raided Richie and Margot Tenenbaum's wardrobe. What ever the inspiration he's loving the look and has pilfered some part of a strap and fashioned it into a headband.
Mini meanwhile is rocking her Cos painterly printed cotton dress and green and neon yellow beaded necklace from JCrew whilst blowing bubbles into her apple juice. What could be more satisfying.

Football fan

We may have been preparing to welcome in Yom Kippur and a day of fasting but Mini was busy kicking a ball around with my two godsons Charlie & Theo. Phin and mini idolise them and what could be more fun than scoring goals with the big boys. Mini was obviously dressed for the part in her Stella for Gap tutu skirt, Phins old Bonpoint sweater and her brand new leopard ballerinas from Zara and a big piece of honey cake in her hand.

Micro Mini

Mini got given the cutest dress the other day from BF Ray Ray. She was so excited to put it on and accessorised with the necklace she'd made with Ray on Monday. Ray's mum Ari found it in France and it's taupe with pale pink stars, the motif of the season. And although its mega short we couldn't help but showcase those thighs with her Zara knee high socks.
