Bee vs. Shark

It was Mini's first Halloween and she embraced next season's s/s '11 stripes with her usual fashion flair while her big bro Phin emulated Stella McCartney's palette of grey for his Shark inspiration. In reality, i have to admit I can't cope with those supermarket gaudy viscose witches and warlocks and so plump for soft fleeces and felt from Pottery Barn Kids in the USA. They do the best ever outfits plus the cutest matching bags which you can have personalised with their names.

Scary Skeletons

Getting into the Halloween spirit with Gap's skeleton glow-in-the-dark Pj's and sainsbury's satin skull mask. Phin and Mini show their spooky stuff!

Summer Loving

Mini was given so many scrumptious summer clothes, there simply weren't enough warm days for her to wear them. So to eek out those light cotton pieces (this one is from Bonton) i've stocked up on poloneck bodies. Bonpoint does the best (wish someone would do them at a better price point) and in really soft hues like rose pink, plum, brick red and slate grey. They are unfussy with no ruching, ruffles or puffed sleeves so they are perfect for little boys too.

Retro ruffles

I love the pleated elizabethan-like ruffled collar on this floral sprig shirt from Caramel paired with a chunky oilve knit. And as you can see i've expanded mini's bow collection. im now going even bigger. ridiculous but i'm addicted to them!

Its almost halloween and i'm getting into the spirit with these adorable bibs from John Lewis

Teddybear tastic

Thanks Sabine and Beverly for Mini's Benetton pale pink teddy bear cashmere sweater. I've teamed it with a Bonpoint ruffle neck blouse, grey cords from Phin, the cutest socks with glitter t-bar from Petit Aime and the ubiquitous bow from Marie Chantal

part of the fash pack

This week has been the start of the s/s 2011 press days previewing all the latest offerings for next season. so of course we have to be super fashionable. Monday Mini wore her grey flannel pants, floral ruffle rose print blouse and sheepskin gillet from Bonpoint

Tuesday saw a little rust poloneck and tights warm up a summer polkadot dress from Bonton

And on Wednesday, for breakfast with the Vuitton girls, Marsha and Lara at Cecconis - Mini showcased her Gap moccasin booties  and favorite Bonpoint hippie dress

so many outfits so little time...

Below is a back catalogue of all mini's outfits she has worn since she was two months old. These little gingham shorts from Caramel are even cuter from the back, with lots of ruffles on the bottom

The first outfit is from Bonton, a lightweight cheescloth top and bloomers, perfect for hot weather. The second is thanks to the lovely Daisy. It winged itself all the way from Makie in NYC. I love the light floral design, so pretty and fresh and the simple lines of the top, the frillyness of the bloomers and then the bonnet tops it all off perfectly!
i love little rompers in the summer and this third outfit this is from a little know American label called B

my first bikini and matching sunhat courtesy of auntie peggy

Gap do the sweetest of dresses and i love this provencal paisley print

thank you kim for my snuggly organic cotton babygro from Gap

Oh Anabelle a pink polka dot Mama's & Papa's ruffle swimsuit. What more could a girl ask for!

Another one from B. I absolutely love cotton pique with rick-rack edging. What a great combo. Its such a strong trapeze shape and i love the frilled bloomers poking out the bottom.

Kissy Kissy do the softest cotton bodies and separates for littlies and this ruffled fishy tank and shorts is another auntie peggy special

Red and white striped swimsuit with pelmet frill on the thigh. Too cute. And the back is criss-cross and ruched and my big bro has a matching pair of shorts too..

This is mini's Mykonnos dress. Thanks Tamara for teaming her wardrobe to her holiday destination!

simple white cotton voile polkadot by Makie, cool and fresh for summer days

pink and white seersucker bloomers with side bows and a matching peterpan collar body from the Linen Company. Thanks Auntie Peggy

Do you have to dress me up from a Dickens novel?!Thanks Edeline for the gorgeous knitted skull cap from Marie Chantal and Grandma for my hand knit cardi. I picked up the hand knitted booties from a local chemist in the Swiss village of Arosa!

And the dress? Well a huge thanks for this one goes to Anabelle, a beautiful linen and white number with orange accents from Mama's & Papa's

This is one of my all time faves (thanks again peggy pops) i am such a fan of indigo blue andthe combination of the white table cloth bib front and the dark blue skirt section adorned with sprigs of cowslip is so elegant. Being ralph lauren it comes with matching bloomers and the cardi has been appropriated from Phin (a hand knitted gift from our maternity nurse Penny)

White broderie anglaise t-shirt dress from Gap and handknitted apple green cardi (stolen from Phin, knitted by grandma eve)

Another Gap number. As you can see i adore broderie anglaise in any guise and the combo of the denim blue stripe and coordinating cardi with sky blue trim is perfect in the most matchy of matchy matchy ways

Another seersucker number. This time in apple green with gorgeous puffed sleeves and broderie anglaise poking beneath and a peter pan collar. The perfect party dress courtesy of Melissa

Oh Shelley! only you with your bubbly and sunny soul could have chosen such a wonderfully vibrant outfit. I love the colour combo, so unusual and the contrast polka leggings with lace trim finish it off perfectly!

When this was e-mailed round, it came back as the fave choice. The dark aubergine voile pants and Liberty print shirt are divine but its the off beat mustard angora cardi that got most coos.

Thanks Suze for my elephant romper and im thrilled you got me a bigger size for when i grow! Comfy and stylish in one

This dress should be in an Enid Blyton novel. The faded florals and the ruched bodice are so retro. And its from M&S to boot. Grandma Eve liked it so much we have another one for next summer!

Love a stripe (can you ever have enough?). This cashmere t-shirt version is from caramel (phin hand-me-down) worn with Gap boy denim jeans with a grey marle turn-up. I cant bear all those girlie jeans with flowers and embroideries and crystals.Keep your denim clean and simple i say. The booties are heavenly. Little mice from Gap and i bought the matching hat of course!

its that dress again but i've wintered it up with a pair of Zara grey ribbed tights, those brogues and another fabbo handknit from grandma Eve and her Debbie Bliss repetoire of cardi's.

All my friend's daughter who go to pembridge hall find this outfit hilarious. To be true it is very similar to teir school uniform but its smocked and from Bonton. So not quite! the cardi is cotton ribbed and from there too. Tights from Gap and tan brogues from Marie-Chantal.

Head-to-toe Bonpoint what could be better. This outfit was picked up in the sale the day i found out i was having a girl. Pale pink baby cords, black and grey floral shirt with ruffle collar and the cream crochet waistcoat is girlie'ness to perfection without being too saccharine

Here's that hat and a raspberry cashmere hooded cardi from Grandma Eve. Snug as a bug.

Gap have done these fantastic baby cord grey bloomer which are quilted for added snug factor (below is the matching double breasted hooded jacket) and i love the off-beat damson knitted waitscoat from Bonton

more head gear, this time a matching floral bandana worn as headscarf. The print is a lemon and blue bird print on a grey background from Bonpoint worn with her Sella for Gap leggings and little grey crochet edged socks. A little pom pom hair clip from Cos is clipped onto the edge of the headscarf (i wish they did smaller sizes their stuff is too fab)

Thanks Barbara for bringing me a little flower power

grey flannel tapered pants with black trim and ribbon belt! I want a pair of those. Love the simple colour blocking and the olive green chunky cardi has 3/4 sleeves. All from Bonpoint.
