Little White Night Out

This week mini and i were invited to a special bloggers event at The Little White Company to check out what was new in store as well as a few other treats.

One of our favourite shops, Biscuiteers, who make not only the most delicious biscuits but also the most beautiful and inventive biscuits around, were on hand to give us both an icing lesson. We love sending out their tin boxes as special gifts, using their gingerbread men as place card settings at parties as well as using their fantastic cookbook to create some of our own cookie creations. But Mini and i were in for a special treat as we got to get tips from them on how to ice your biscuit and make our own masterpieces. Top Tip: they use little icing bags and just snip the end, then twist the bag so the icing goes all the way to the bottom but hold the bag at the top like a pen.

Mini tucks into the cupcakes in her new vintage inspired tea rose dress by Caramel while i check out their new Liberty print duvet which was inspired by a 1930's vintage eiderdown.

This is going on our wish list! And we are also loving their floral sprig pyjamas for Ottilie with a pie-crust collar and Mini loved the rose print pony.

For the boys we liked this British Bulldog sweater and the cool slouchy wool blazer below. Phin would definitely rock this look!

Another one of our favourites is this wool biker jacket, it has a cool Parisian feel just like our favourite designs from Isabel Marrant.

We loved sitting in this wigwam and having a quite moment to read

And as The Little White Company is our favourite place to buy all our sleepwear, from Ottilie's sleepsacks to Phin's checked flannel Pj's we couldn't help but get a few more pieces from their new collection for Mini. She close them herself, a pale pink striped set with a pony on the front and this gorgeous cotton rose print nightie. We got home and she promptly put it on and fell into a deep deep sleep.

And not only did Mini and i have some treats, Biscuiteers are offering our followers 10% off their Little Biscuiteers school of icing. Its such a fun idea - your kids get to have their own hour long icing lesson. They provide the biscuits or cakes as well as all the icing and decorations, its the perfect idea for a treat or even a party. Call 08704 588 358 or email yum@biscuiteers.com and mention The White Company for your discount.

Glitter & Stripe

A touch of sparkle is always fun and today mini went all out on high shine. She started by choosing her favourite gold mesh skirt by Little Fashion Gallery. Its light weight, floaty and fun. Then we decided to add her JCrew stripe t shirt with gold glitter heart and her Crewcuts leopard boots (handed down from Phin and a little worse for wear) to throw the look a curveball in clashing prints and textures. And Finally a gold glitter bow hairband in case no one got the glitter meno!

Sparkle & Sunshine

With miserable weather you just have to find other ways to brighten your day. Here mini has added a touch of sparkle to her hand-me-down grey sweater dress with her new JCrew glitter boots and navy knee high socks.

Welcome to the world!

My gorgeous baby no 3 entered the world three weeks ago on the 3rd of September 2013.
You may have noticed a lack of minis fashion file of late and this is my little excuse!
Ottilie Echo and I have been holed up at home getting to know each other.
At the moment we've been doing lots of eating, cuddling and sleeping but I'm sure she will make quite a few guest spots on her sister's blog.
In the meantime here are a few of her first pics...

Welcome to the world part 2

Fashion file catch up

There has been an absence if late with minis fashion file but that's what having a new baby will do I'm afraid!
So here are a few if minis looks she's been sporting...

This red and cream ruffle fronted blouse is by Isabel Marrant. She's my favourite go to designer for myself and I almost flipped when I found this shirt in the sale for mini. I picked it up over two years ago and it's been patiently waiting to be worn. Voila it now fits!
