Back to ibiza and hanging out with my glorious three.
While I've been away a tent has been erected in the living room. Made from sheets, towels and string it's housed Phin and mini complete with soft furnishings and a makeshift bed. These two are very proud of their new residence. It's something my brothers and I did when our parents went away and I love that my kids get the same enjoyment from doing there's.

Hamptons shopping 1
Tom and I did a fair bit if retail therapy. East Hampton has a great selection of designer shops from RRL to JCrew, as well as boutiques such as Intermix. A favourite of mine was Everything but Water - great bikinis, kaftans and hats as well as the Australian swim label Zimmerman whose dresses are favoured by Catherine Duchess of Cambridge and an old favourite of mine Calypso which caters to my hippy side with their easy summer dresses, jumpsuits and beaded jewellery.
But we also fell in love with the homewares available. And only wished they shipped to the Uk. One of these was Serena & Lily who have an easy beach vibe that would be perfect for Ibiza.

Hampton's Shopping 2
Another spot we loved was Love Adorned in Amagansett. It's filled with a whole host of beautiful things from embroidered owl masks to stain glass wind chimes, ceramics, brooms and metal bells. We walked away with two indigo vintage West African throws and a blue and white striped hammock all for Ibiza!
Hampton's Shopping 3
Another beyond cool store was Wyeth - a mid century furniture store that Tom follows on First Dibs. It's prices are insane but so is their collection so it was fun just to see what they had and lounge if only for a moment in their Wegner chairs.
Hampton's Shopping 4
Finally I got to visit Tina the store in Amagansett. It's a small boutique set in a roadside home. Filled to the brim with everything in white to deepest indigo it's scandi style at its most chic. Curated by one of my style heroines, the Finnish born fashion editor Tiina Laakonen it's filled with fashion as well as homeware. Needless to say I left with a sweater and an ombré throw made in Maine for our home in Ibiza.

Hamptons wedding
Tom and I dressed up for my friend Jenny's wedding to her fiancé Andrew. It was held in their South Hampton home, set amongst the trees was a giant trestle table with wild clematis and a billowing sail like awning, protecting guests from the sun.
Jenny had her two dresses designed personally by Fransisco Costa from Calvin Klein. A blush pink three quarter hour glass silhouette for the ceremony and an apricot slip dress for the lunch. It was definitely high fashion but at the same time low key - I was seated with the gorgeous Rag and Bone boys to one side and the charming Kenneth Cole on the other we were entertained by a jazz band in the woods and an al fresco barbecue.
Perfection.

Hamptons heaven
Tom and I whizzed off to the Hamptons for a friend's wedding. We left the kids in ibiza and absconded for four days.
It was the first time there for both of us and we had a blast.
We stayed at a gorgeous hotel called the Baker House 1660 in East Hampton.
And we spent a lot of time driving between South and East Hampton (great for shopping) as well as our favourite Amagansett and the more rustic Montauk.

Hampton's Food
The beaches are so idyllic and stretch for miles. Perfect for long blustery walks.
Two places that we would highly recommend to eat were The Crow's Nest in Montauk - where you sit outside overlooking a lake under twinkle lights and eating kale chips and risotto. While the Hampton's Chutney company is one of the best take out Dosa's we've had the pleasure of eating. And not just the normal potato style but also with goats cheese, tomatoes and kalamata olives. Thanks to my dear friend Kate for those two fantastic recommendations!
