Little Monkey

Boy is mini a cheeky monkey, pulling faces and jumping around. Especially surrounded by her friend Tati at kindergarten. She sure likes to show off in her new Antik Batik embroidered dress (I want it!), Next leggings and self made beaded necklace.

A next surprise

I popped into Next today to pick up some plain leggings for mini to wear under her summer dresses and instead I was surprised to find some great stand out pieces
There are some fantastic summer sandals, beautiful broderie summer dresses, neon cool t-shirts and a whole Provence themed collection with gypsy dresses and playsuits. Well worth checking out.

Slip N Slide

It was another warm and sunny day here in Germany and cousin Katharina cleverly came equipped with her new slip n slide mat. A hose is inserted into the side, water sprays out along the side panel and all you have to do is hurl yourself along with abandon. Mini promptly whipped off her new neon embroidered sundress from Antik Batik at Hop Like a Bunny and slipped and skidded to her hearts content.

Bank holiday bliss

Catching some sunshine in germany at Phin and minis great grandma's house. It's knickers and ice lollies all day. Bank holiday bliss with their cousins david and lea.

A little more leopard

Mini is such a little passion kisser. I'm lucky to get such love. Bliss.

On another note I've succumbed to yet more leopard (can my wardrobe take it?) and after months of procrastination have finally bought the Celine leopard print espadrilles. I'm in love.
And in this months new Vogue my leopard addiction has been heralded with a pap shot of me in my favourite Stella coat and shoes. See! You can never have enough leopard.

Adventure Mini

It was Alexander and Massimo's birthday bash. Basically lots of running around and climbing. Mini had a blast. Totally fearless in her Stella for Gap mint flower dress and frilled ankle socks climbing the rock face - with a little help from Monika of course!

Lord Phineas is 5

Phin was five today. Wow. Those five years went fast. We celebrated with a lunch with papow, grandma, tante poppy and uncle piggle and then it was off on an intergalactic mission courtesy of Sharkey & George and his very own Star Wars party.
We had lots of running around and thwacking but we also had our Darth cake that Phin and Mini helped to bake.
Three different cakes moulds (a Darth head via amazon, two square tins) and lots and lots of food colouring (jane Asher sells the best).
The inside was a buttermilk poundloaf recipe from Hummingbird with tons of red food colouring (I loved the idea of a bloody cake) and then slathered in black cream cheese frosting, glitter and silver bobbles. Look what happens though when u eat it!
