Olympic date

Tom and I on our first Olympic date together. We lucked out on getting some great tickets for the Olympics through the ballot system, lots of football, ping pong and my favourite beach volley ball. But we quickly realised we didn't have any that would allow us to experience the Olympic village. So Tom got on-line and managed to snap up some synchronised diving tickets. Here we are in front of the main stadium. Go team GB!

Turn your flag round!

The orbit. Not quite sure what its for but it looks fantastic
We screamed so hard for Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield but a medal was not to be. It was a wonderful experience and we loved cheering on our countrymen. So proud.
The giant British Airways screens standing in the river, meant you could lie on either side of the bank and watch live events while having a picnic on the grass. We enjoyed the men's gymnastics.
Meanwhile Tom took Phin, Al and his dad Alex to cheer on Team GB in the football. 3-1 at last a great result!
