Today was Minis first day of kindergarten and although it was only half an hour to meet all her teachers she dressed for the occasion in her white Marie-Chantal dress. Playing in the kitchen and with playdough was the order of the day. Watch out for next week where I have to leave her there...
She looks so sweet, love her little matching bow, she has such beautiful blonde curls. I remember when my daughter started nursery (she has just started reception) i had all these beautiful little outfits planned for her. Only to be told by her nursery that they weren't practical for nursery and that she should wear outfits like leggings and t-shirts for nursery. Well, we compromised and ended up with dresses and leggings and leggings and smocks. If you do end up in this situation i recommend elias and grace as they have practical clothes that are super stylish too. Good luck with her first day next week.
ReplyDeleteThank you! i have to admit this is probably the only time i will let her wear white to nursery but luckily this school lets us dress them up as much as we want so i think she will get to wear some of her other pretty dresses but i love your layering idea! clever way to be practical yet also pretty
